It's OK not to feel OK.

You’re still you - and you still have the power to choose wellness.

There are many paths to get there.

We're glad you're here

Michigan Minds Empowered is a community dedicated to building strength, finding hope and establishing meaning on our journey to wellness.

We believe that every person facing a mental health challenge can access inner strength and wellbeing, so we created a space where we could do just that – connect, learn and draw inspiration from one another.

We understand the power of asking for help because it has changed our own lives. But we also understand that no one journey looks the same.

We’re here to help you find a path to wellness that works for you.

If you've been...

Having troubling thoughts

Seeing or hearing things that you aren’t sure are real

Having sudden trouble focusing or understanding what others are saying

Withdrawing from those around you and the things that you once enjoyed

Or otherwise not feeling quite like yourself…

Let us help you figure out the best plan of action to get back to living your best life.

Who we are + how to get involved

Michigan Minds Empowered is a reflection of the voices of participants from local youth mental health treatment programs who have helped to start and grow this community.

We teamed up with Strong 365, a national psychosis support community, to spread the word that asking for help is a sign of strength and ensure that everyone has access to high quality mental health care.

Interested in joining the movement by sharing your story or getting involved? Please consider adding your voice – it might just be the one that makes a life-saving difference for someone else.

“Despite living with a mental health condition, we can still lead regular, fulfilling lives and do the things we want to do. Getting help early can make a big difference.”

-Collin, Michigan program participant

“The treatment program gave me a plan. My favorite part was when I first met with the nurse practitioner and she let me in on my own treatment.”

– Michigan program participant

“To find a place that worked exclusively on mental health recovery was such a relief. The entire staff provided encouragement, hope, and even social activities to help our daughter connect with other participants. Had it not been for this program, we’re not sure where we’d be today.”

– Kevin and Shelly, parents of a Michigan program participant

“The deep caring, experience, and expertise with which everyone on the staff has offered such a comprehensive variety of helpful programs has been of immeasurable value to our daughter and our whole family.”
